Integrated approach to cyber resilience

Many steps have already been taken at both national and EU level to increase digital resilience. For example, various strategies, agendas and updates to this have been published in recent years and countless large and small, often regional, cybersecurity initiatives have been launched, from the government and the business community, but also from society itself. Practice shows that this is not enough. More cohesion, strength and speed are needed. The Cyber Security Council believes it is important that successive cabinets make a vigorous effort on cybersecurity in terms of directing the collaboration, a multi-year program and the corresponding funding. Only in this way will we achieve a nationwide network of detection, prevention, response and cure in the coming term of office.
